How to Complete Major

Single Major A student who completes a single major course is required to complete the major requirements that were active at the time the student entered and enrolled in the university program.
Multi Major To complete a multi-major course, students must complete one of the majors as specified the year of the student's admission. The multi-major credits specified in the minimum credit point recognition system shall be applied.
For a multi-major course, students must complete their initially selected major requirements according to the requirements at the time they enrolled, and the secondary major according to regulations at the time of their admission to the secondary course.
Those who wish to complete a multidisciplinary course must apply for a multi-major program during the application period and obtain approval.
Minor The addition of a minor in addition to a major(usually designated by 21 additional credits in a course of study outside the student's major), with completion marked on the graduation certificate.
Additional information about subjects and credit requirements can be found in the Enforcement Regulations of each major's curriculum.
Minor courses are not recognized towards completion of a major course.(their credits can only be applied to the minor, and credits acquired this way will be marked as such on the diploma)

※ All students must at minimum complete the requirements for the major they are enrolled in. However, if two of more major courses have been completed, the minimum major qualification score specified in the respective major courses shall be applied.
※ Completion of a major means completion of all the requirements specified in the curriculum regulations of the major. The regulations for the implementation of the curriculum for each major can be found on the department website. The requirements specify the number of required credits for each category and the graduation thesis. Other requirements may include specifies of grades for graduation, English lecture requirements, and completion of madatory courses for graduation.

Graduation Credits System

Students who have a GPA below 1.7 are not eligible for graduation, regardless of having fulfilled the minimum credit requirements.

Mandatory English Courses

New or transfer students must complete at least three courses designated as English courses (transfer students must complete at east one) from their major courses before graduation. Graduation will be suspended or delayed until the courses are successfully completed.
